Cooperative Movement

Coopoly applies every day the cooperative's head principles updated by the “Alliance Coopérative Internationale” in September 1995 which are:

The membership is voluntary and open to all
Democratic power exercised by the members
Economical participation of the membership
Autonomy and independence
Education, training and information
Involvement into the community
Cooperation between cooperatives

A cooperative is a good thing. But when it is part of a network, it is even better! The strength provided by such a gathering enables the cooperative to optimize its potential and to serve its members more efficiently. This is what happened for Coopoly. It is presently a member of the “Fédération québécoise des coopératives en milieu scolaire” that gathers high schools and higher education institutions under the Coopsco shirttail.
