-- What cry? his father asked.

The father shook his head no.
-- It's impossible ! Another person retorted. A deafening cry has just torn the atmosphere and you didn't hear it? Are you kidding us?
The father thought of a joke being played on him, but while scrutinizing the terrified looks of his friends and his daughter: he became pale and lost.
